Race For Life – Sunday 9th October

During that day all Avon Reps and Business Developers will be involved to rising money for Avon Breast Cancer Crusade which is part of Avon Fundation for Women. All money raised goes to support two specialist Avon Breast Cancer nurse counsellors, one based at ARC Cancer Support House in Dublin and one at  ARC Cancer Support House in Cork

This year more than ever, we are focusing our efforts around a national month of fundraising (October) in tribute to Pat Hargadon, Avon breast cancer nurse counsellor who died in July after a short illness (Breast Cancer). Pat,was one of two Avon nurses funded by the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. The overwhelming level of response to her untimely passing has reminded us all of the importance of the Crusade and with your continued support we can ensure both posts can be maintained for another year. Pat was a wonderful ambassador for the Crusade and leaves a legacy of care and compassion. She touched the lives of almost 3,000 women and their families since her appointment in 1998.
