Regina Flavin from Rushbrooke accepted an internal sales award for Ireland on behalf of her team at the Sodexo 2011 Star Awards, the annual staff event organised by the food and facilities management provider to recognise employee initiative and success in Ireland and the UK.

Well-known UK broadcaster Claudia Winkleman acted as master of ceremonies.  Her work colleague, head chef Tom Power from Carrigaline, was also at the ceremony to accept the Employee of the Year Award for Ireland.

The Award is given to a manager who has demonstrated their commitment to growing and developing the food offer on their site to meet the demands of their customers.

Commenting on her win, Regina said, “I am delighted to have won the Award for Ireland. It is very rewarding to know that all your work and effort has been recognised at the highest level in the company and attending the Star Awards was a great experience.”

Jeremy Dicks, managing director of Sodexo Ireland said, “Regina and her team have been very proactive in managing the innovative changes we made to our food offer on-site, which included live theatre cooking, a pizza bar and premium grill bar and this have been very much welcomed by her customers, who have shown their appreciation in the most tangible way possible.”
