Rushbrooke RC – Club News Cheque presentation

Members of Rushbrooke Rowing Club present staff of the Park Road Centre with a cheque for €250.

Rushbrooke Rowing Club held an 82hr Titanic Rowing Challenge in April, and have donated a portion of the funds raised to two very worthy local organizations – Breaking The Silence Suicide Awareness Group, and The Park Road Centre. The would like to sincerely thank the people of Cobh for supporting this event. Our growing club is open to new members of all abilities over the age of 11. No experience is necessary, and we welcome anyone who would like to try it out.

Training times are Juniors – Tues & Thurs at 6.30pm, Sun at 10.30am and Adults – Wed & Thurs at 6.30pm, Sun 11.30am and gym session on Monday at 7pm. Our season has begun, and as a club we will be attending regattas all around east cork most Sunday’s until August. These regattas include both competition but also fun days which a great opportunity for new members to row. These events make for a great, fun family day out. Rushbrooke Rowing Club will also be holding the Cork County Finals these year in Haulbowline on July 29th, one of the biggest events on the Cork Costal Rowing Calendar.
