The Special Olympic Ireland National Collection, will take place on Friday 27th April 2012. This fundraising event is normally carried out each year throughtout Ireland. Special Olympic athletes are presently in training with their respective Clubs/Schools and of course with our friends in COPE foundation. Such funds assist our Special Olympic athletes to represent Ireland at National and World games. Titanic 2012 staff, Y M P A, the Family Resource Centre, Schools, Cobh Gardai and of course lots of others will be lending a hand on the day with this collection, for which we are grateful of and all that is needed now is the kind and generous people of COBH to support our Special Olympians
Cobh Special Olympic athletes participating in the 2011 World Special Olympic games brought to Cobh with great pride Gold, Silver and Bronze medals. It is hoped the the kind and generous people of Cobh will lend a hand with this collection here in Cobh on the day. Should anyone have an hour or so to spare we would appreciate their help here in Cobh. If available please contact Frank at 087 7753159.
