U11 Div 2
Everton 2 Springfield Ramblers 2
Springfield Ramblers started very well in this Division 2 away tie. We hit the post and had some great chances but failed to put any of them away. Everton then scored against the run of play to lead one nil at half time. Everton scored again to go two up in the second half. But with time running out Eoghan Meaney scored a screamer from outside the box. Then with the help of some hard work from Dylan Higgins, Eoghan scored a deserved equaliser. This was a great team performance and a great comeback for a deserved point. Well done to the lads.
U15 Division 1
Bandon 4 Springfield Ramblers 1
Springfield Ramblers got off to a great start with a fine goal from James O’Flynn the result of good early pressure. A combination of mistakes and injuries let a strong Bandon team back into the game and they
took their chances well to win the game 4-1. The result did not reflect the hard work put in by the team and they were unlucky to lose by such a margin.

Corinthian Boys 2 Springfield Ramblers 2
This was a great point away to Corinthians for Springfield Ramblers. A brace of goals from Adam Horgan secured the draw for the Cobh side. The away team dominated the second half and had enough chances to win the game but remain unbeaten and are in a very healthy position in the Premier League table.

Corinthian Boys 2 Cobh Ramblers 2
Cobh Ramblers secured a very good away point in this hard fought game away to Corinthians at Castletreasure. Ramblers started very brightly wining all the midfield exchanges in the first twenty minutes. The forward pairing of Daniel Santry and Dave Cahill worked tirelessly across the front line to pressurise the home defence. Their control on the passes played in to them was first class as they played the oncoming midfield and full backs in to the game.
The team was rewarded for their great start when Daniel Santry closed down a clearance from the home defence and broke away before calmly slotting the ball past the advancing goalkeeper. The home side was stung into action and they began to get the upper hand in the midfield area. Though they had the majority of possession for the remainder of the half, Corinthians created only one clear cut chance which was brilliantly saved by Shane Hallahan.
The second half began as the first half had ended with the home side continuing to press. The pressure eventually paid off when Cobh conceded a penalty which was expertly struck home. With their tails up the home side pushed on and scored a second goal shortly afterwards from a swift counter attacking move.
The Cobh side were on the rack now but with some re-organization they dug in and began to play themselves back into the game. The reverted to the passing game they had started with and it paid dividends when they forced a free kick down the left side. A brilliant delivery from Dave Curran was touched home by Daniel Santry for his second goal and a deserved equaliser. The Cobh side were finishing stronger and were denied a winner when Dave Cahill shot narrowly wide at the end.
