14 volunteers were out today with Cobh Tidy Towns. It was great to meet 3 new people today. Carrigaloe beach wacleaned. Westview was swept from top to bottom. Cans and rubbish were gathered from the Rock and the Burma steps. The footpaths on the Lake Road by Christchurch were swept. The final colourful touches were put in place in Penny Lane thanks to Jim.
Due to the low number of volunteers turning up on Tuesday evenings we are moving our evening meeting to Wednesdays at 6.30pm to see if this suits people better during the summer. Please come along to the playground on the Five Foot Way on Wednesday if you would like to help out. All welcome.
