On a lovely bright Saturday morning in Cobh we had 7 volunteers painting, litter picking and sweeping. Poles were painted on the Rushbrooke approach to Cobh and step railings at the top of East Hill. The Rock and Burma steps were cleaned. Leaves were swept from the High Road and Bishops Road. Thank you to all the helpers during the week.
Thank you to the Titanic Bar and Grill for their donation covering the cost of the raised flowerbed which we planted in the Promenade. Thank you to the person from “The Pines” in Rushbrooke Links who donated a large amount of bark mulch to Cobh Tidy Towns. It has certainly helped to improve the look of the beds near the hairdressers at Ticknock. Real team effort this week!
