Volunteers needed for Cobh Tidy Towns

On Saturday we had 3 volunteers out painting poles on the Low Road and Bishops Road. There are lots of poles, lamp posts and bollards around Cobh which need touching up. It would have made a huge difference if we had more hands painting this morning. As hobbies perhaps begin to take their summer break maybe you may consider giving an hour during the week towards helping us get the poles painted?
Judging is just around the corner for the National Tidy Towns but aside from that it is quite striking to see nice shiny black bollards and poles rather than flaky scraped ones. We meet on Tuesdays at 6.30pm and Saturdays at 10am by the playground on the Five Foot Way. PLEASE lend a hand to get Cobh ready for June 1st.
