To celebrate European Year of Volunteering 2011 Cobh (Great Island) Community Centre will run a free Information Event on Saturday 25th June to give members of the public information on volunteering opportunities in the Cobh and Great Island Area. Doors will open at 10am for what promises to be a very informative event with lots of local voluntary groups having confirmed their attendance. The event welcomes people from all walks of life and it is due to finish at 1pm so do come along, we would love to meet you! Perhaps you are recently unemployed and are looking to fill your week or perhaps you just want to get out to meet people and give something back to the community, this is YOUR OPPORTUNITY!
