The Cobh & Harbour Chamber Summer Swing took place in Cobh on Sunday afternoon in glorious sunshine. This event, which is just one in a series over the summer months, coupled with the Lusitania Memorial Service and the visit of the Queen Elizabeth, brought people in their hundreds to the town, boosting the local economy and for once the rain stayed away allowing people to enjoy the afternoon’s free entertainment including music by Kieran Kramer and Liam Mullane, two very talented musicians who received rapturous applause. Face painters and a Carousel were in the Promenade for the children to enjoy themselves.
