The Blitz is open to both boys and girls. Individuals who do not have a team should turn up on the day and they will be allocated a team.
Players should bring the appropriate footwear for astro turf and also have proper clothing in the event of poor weather conditions. I would encourage as many of the parents as possible to attend over the weekend and support the children. The Blitz is FREE and this year with the support of Supermacs and the Commodore Hotel we are in a position to guarantee every child who plays U8, U10, U12 a medal. In the U14, U16 and U18 age groups medals will only be awarded to the winners and runners up. As in previous years some local Soccer Stars will be on hand to present medals and trophies. A trophy will also be awarded to the best player of each age group and finally FREE Refreshments in the form of minerals, water, fruit and sweets will be provided over the weekend.
Could last years winning captains please return the trophies to Cobh Garda Station before Friday 12th July
