Butterfly Wings handed over two cheques this month totaling over €8000 to the Irish Cancer Society’s Night Nurse Programme and ARC Support House Cork. Speaking with Trish Carlos she said ”A massive thank you to all the supporters of our annual Butterfly Ball, Minimarathon runners and our supporters in general, we could not do this without you. The committee are busy at the moment preparing for next year’s ball on the 8th March and payment options are available if you’d like to join us. All information is on our FaceBook page.
”We are also looking for people to join us on this year’s Minimarathon. This year we are raising money for the charity’s new Education Programme. We are producing a programme to educate teenagers about cancer and healthy lifestyles. Information about the ball, Minimarathon, sponsorship cards and the education programme are all available on our FB page or from any committee member. butterflyswing@gmail.com or 0214814172”
