Following on from our previous highly successful Exhibitions, Cork Harbour Islands Project (C.H.I.P.) would like to announce the opening of our 2015 Exhibition ‘ *Cobh/Queenstown 1915 – The Year before the Rising* ‘ in Cobh Maritime Building at Cobh Railway Station (many thanks to Cobh Maritime Development Company for the use of the Centre).
We would be delighted if as many as possible could attend the Ceremony which will be performed by Conor Nelligan, Heritage Officer, Cork County Council. This year’s Exhibition will focus on local, national and international events in the year 1915 and the lead up to one of the most important events in Irish history – The Easter Rising 1916 and will feature many interesting insights into life 100 years ago
