Cobh Garda District Soccer Blitz 2010
The Annual Cobh Garda District Soccer Blitz, in association with local soccer clubs, will be held on Friday and Saturday 6th and 7th August at the community college field in Carrignafoy. The running order for this year’s blitz will be as follows; U12 & U16- Friday 6th at 3pm. U8, U10, U14- Saturday 7th at 11am. U18 to be announced at a later date.
Team application forms are still available from Cobh Garda Station. The age group that you played under the season just finished qualifies you to play in that age group in the blitz.The blitz is for both boys and girls and all are welcome. If an individual cannot find a team, then simply turn up on the day and you will be allocated a team. I would encourage as many of the parents to turn up and support the children on the day and to ensure that they have adequate refreshments with them. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
