Irish Rail has teamed up with The Island Jam, Cobh’s newest boutique music festival this year by providing late trains from Cobh on June 30th and July 1st 2012.
Festival goers can now travel by train to and from Cobh to The Island Jam, which celebrates the best of Irish rock with international artists thrown in to invigorate the taste buds. Performances from the Fun Lovin Criminals, Jack L, Republic of Loose, The Walls, Royseven, Eric Bell and many more will get the Great Island and Cobh rocking on the last weekend in June.
Trains will run on normal times throughout the day from Kent station in Cork City to Cobh train station with a midnight train operating from Cobh on June 30th and July 1st. Shuttle buses will operate from the train station for a €3 return fair to and from the festival site.
