Results: 02/10/11
Div 3 got back to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Dungarvan last Sunday. The home side was very much on top for most of the game and should have won by a much higher score only for the efforts of the Dungarvan defence. The winning goal came from a short corner after 20 mins when Katie Murphy was on hand to slot home from close range. Cobh came so close on a number of occasions with shots from Noelle Walsh and Liz Clifford . The second half saw Cobh have some lovely moves with Aoife Richardson and Gillian Morrissey working well together. Cobh had numerous short corners with Liz Clifford coming close but in the end the one goal was enough to take the three points.
