Cobh Tidy Tows Notes 11th Dec

On Saturday 10th December 13 volunteers came out with Tidy Towns.The flower bed was weeded at Carrigaloe and 14 bags of litter including a chair,a gas bottle and a door were gathered from the beach there.The footpath all along the front of the dockyard was cleared of compacted earth and leaves.We won’t be meeting next Saturday morning – a morning off to get the last of the Christmas shopping done!!
Happy Christmas to all and a HUGE thanks to all for the hard work put in by people in 2011.Four Tidy Towns volunteers travelled recently to Killarney to be presented with our Bronze Medal in the 2011 National Tidy Towns competition.Undoubtedly 2012 can be even better if we get every individual and business in Cobh out in force to make Cobh an even better place to live in,work in and visit !
