Harbour Flights Get Cobh Planning Permission – Nov 24th

Great news out of Cobh at 2.00pm today is that Harbour Flights have been given full planning permission to operate their service out of Cobh. Harbour Flights execuitive Denise Cronin, speaking with Cobh Edition a short while ago, was absolutely overjoyed at the announcement that the Council have given them full planning permission to proceed with their Cobh project.
An Board Pleanala’s decision is due out on Tuesday, however, it’s expected that there will be no objection raised and the sight of Cessna 172’s landing in Cobh will become a regular part of the Cobh skyline and scenery..

Harbour Flights Ireland
Adam Cronin, local business man and Director of Harbour Flights Ireland, announced today that Harbour Flights Ireland got full planning permission to operate their service in Cobh. The group, which performed sea trails back in August of this year, were delighted with the news. It is envisaged that the Cessna 172 sea planes will operate from early Spring 2011. On Tuesday, Harbour Flights Ireland, were granted planning at Mount Shannon and became the first licensed Sea Plane Base in Ireland.
