The annual Christmas fayre at St. Benedict’s Priory was a huge success this year. Thank you to all the people who supported the event and to the local businesses for their continued support. Thank you to Mike of Cobh Edition, Inside Cobh and The Great Island news letter for the advertising and to all the people who helped out on the day. If you missed the fayre why not visit our tea rooms and shop Mon.- Fri. 10am-5pm where you will be served homemade scones with homemade jam and free parking.
Afterwards take a walk in the Bible garden one of the very few such gardens in Ireland, another unique gem in Cobh. Our sponsors on the day were Ray and Maire Keating Londis, Garvey’s Super Valu, Whealan’s Hardware Store, East Cork Oil, Whealan’s Hardware Store, Liam of Cobh Pharmacy and all the people who baked cakes and gave in items for our bric a brac stall . Last but not least the staff of the Priory who worked endlessly to make the fayre the success it was, Happy Christmas to every one and a peaceful new year.
