Div 6 played host to Limerick last Sunday which ended in a 1-1 all draw, though on balance it was game the home team should have won. Cobh went ahead after about 10 mins when Kate Morgan latched on to a rebound from the goalie to give her team the lead. Cobh had some good chances to go further ahead with Chelsea Crone and Caroline Green in great form. However it was Limerick who scored next when an unmarked player had a shot on goal which was saved but the rebound was put away. The second half saw Cobh attack more and they had the majority of the play with some great saves being pulled off by the Limerick goalie. Limerick too had their chances and goalie Jessica Stack had to pull off two saves to keep Cobh from going behind. The game ended however on a 1-1 score line and Kate Morgan received Player of the Match.
