Springfield Ramblers 1 Mallow 0
Springfield Ramblers U12 team beat a very good Mallow team to make history and become the first Springfield Ramblers team to win a Premier League Title. Dave Coffey was outstanding in goal with top class performances from Niall Abbott, Adam O’Sullivan and Adam Horgan. Ramblers sealed the win with a trademark Charlie Fleming header.
The club extends its congratulations to this wonderful group of players for their outstanding efforts this season and wishes them the best of luck in their Cup Semi-Final next Thursday evening at the VEC grounds. The club also extends its congratulations to team manager and coaches Steve Quinlan, Eoin O’Sullivan and Con Brierly.
The management and coaches of the team extends its sincere thanks to the parents and families who came out to support the team throughout the season and to Mick O’Donnell for the wonderful playing surface he provided all year.
